Basée à Bristol mais originaire du nord de l’Angleterre, Lotu est apparue sur la scène dubstep courant 2016 et s’est depuis forgé une réputation unique en tant que DJ et productrice. « Soundsystem enthusiast », comme elle aime se décrire, elle puise l’essentiel de ses inspirations dans le dubstep brut des années 2000, un son fondateur qu’elle fusionne avec des sonorités sombres et industrielles. Curieuse de tous les styles destinés à être joués sur soundsystem, incluant sans surprise les sons reggae ou dub, Lotu sélectionne large et précis avec une seule idée en tête : avoir un impact positif sur le public et sur la danse!

Passée par des événements prestigieux tels que le Outlook Festival, les soirées Deep Medi, Boomtown, Croydub et The Black Box (USA), et régulièrement associée à Chad Dubz aux platines, Lotu s’adapte à chaque événement pour proposer des DJ sets débordants d’énergie, mêlant atmosphères immersives, méditatives et ambiances festives.

LOTU emerged in the dubstep scene in 2016, carving out a distinct presence renowned for her contributions as both a producer and DJ. Bristol-based but originally from the north of England, her signature style draws inspiration from the gritty essence of 2006 dubstep, blending it with dark, moody industrial aesthetics. Soundsystem enthusiast, passionate about all styles shaped to be played on a soundsystem, including reggae and dub, LOTU selects with precision, always driven by a singular goal: to create a positive impact on the crowd and the dance!
